Still feeling fresh after 30 years of existence. The techno festival PollerWiesen hosts four events with over 20.000 visitors, opening the season in April and ending with multiple boat parties in the summer.
Building on the
rebrand developed in 2022 after the dull years of the pandemic, we decided to create a new visual identity for their 30th anniversary edition in 2023.
Both typography and design system of the previous year were updated. Each of the four different events kept their hero color, which combined with the type layer melt to a colored liquid metal, celebrating the anniversary.
Similar to the previous year the design process started in motion and ended in static. With motion at the core, all applications across digital touch points were animated and transferred to static for printed matter.
